We have an exciting opportunity for a Provider Relationship and Performance Officer to join the Adult Skills Team. You will be allocated a portfolio of providers which will include Further Education Colleges, Independent Training Providers and Local Authorities and you will be responsible for establishing effective strategic relationships with each of the providers within your portfolio in order to ensure that their provision is aligned to the skills needs of Tees Valley for both adults (aged 19+) and employers. The role will also involve the performance management of the Provider Delivery Plans.

The successful candidate should have:

* a detailed understanding of the Adult Skills sector and experience of working in the Adult Skills / Further Education sector.
* experience of directly managing funding and performance in a college/provider, funding agency or similar organisation.
* the ability to establish good working relationships and appreciate different points of view
* excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate orally and in writing with a range of audiences
* the ability to analyse data and experience of working with the Individualised Learner Record (ILR) system
* a good level of political awareness and sensitivity.
* good IT Skills including Microsoft Office Systems, (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Power BI
* good organisational and time management skills
