South Tyneside Council are seeking to appoint a skilled Knowledge & Intelligence Lead to improve the health and wellbeing of the South Tyneside population. This post will be a strategic leader in South Tyneside supporting the South Tyneside health and care system realise the ambitions outlined in the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy and the broader South Tyneside Vision.
In addition this post will increase the application of knowledge and intelligence across the whole North East by raising awareness of existing products and demonstrating good practice, with a key focus on applying relevant products to the local context and sharing learning back with the regional network of knowledge and intelligence leads.
This post will be employed on a full-time permanent basis by South Tyneside Council, however the post will be jointly accountable to the Council and Public Health England.
