The post holder must be a qualified Social Worker and be able to demonstrate that they can manage complex situations where people and agencies may have conflicting opinions and write concise reports
A sound knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and its application in practice is essential and an understanding of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards is also a prerequisite.
The successful applicant will need to proactively work in partnership with our colleagues across the department and with partner agencies outside of the department, such as the Police, NHS organisations and the Care Quality Commission.
The successful applicant will receive regular supervision and an annual appraisal, and will be well supported with opportunities in respect of their career development.
