The Service

The repairs and maintenance team undertakes responsive and planned repairs to 8,500 homes provided by NCC for rent we undertake over 30,00 repairs per year and employes a combined workforce of nearly 100 people This role sits within the team reporting to the housing maintenance manager assisting and supporting the team to provide a high quality high performing repairs service to out service stakeholders

The role

Key responsibilities will be to work with our operations managers and other internal sections of the council in response to reports of housing disrepair and also providing general officer support to the teams operations workstream managers. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.’

A starting salary of £18,795 rising to £19,171 per annum (Band 3)
