Polam Hall School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Receptionist/ Administrative Officer for its busy Senior School Office

Responsibilities will include providing:

- reception/front of house service for Polam Hall School
- pro-active administrative support for the senior phase of the school
- specific administrative assistance to the HR manager and the Business Manager
- liaison with parents, taking messages and resolving day to day issues
- a contribution to the operational administration of the school through the work of the general office and to provide cover on the primary site
- first aid to senior school pupils as required

The successful candidate will have a level 3 qualification in Business and Administration or equivalent. You will have proven experience and knowledge of administration in a school or other business setting. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders at all levels. You should have good customer care skills and a positive work ethic with good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and work under pressure.

Polam Hall School is a 4-19 co-educational day and boarding school which converted to Free School Status in September 2015. It is now part of Woodard Academies Trust and forms part of the Trust's Northern Hub. The Trust is working effectively with Polam Hall School to prepare the school for its first OFSTED, expected in 2017/18.

This is a very exciting time at Polam Hall. The school has grown to its current 700 pupils over the last two years and will continue to expand until it reaches a roll of around 880.
