Grade 7 (SCP 32-36) £28,485 - £31,601

The Planning and Regeneration Service is seeking a built environment professional with a knowledge and experience of urban design and regeneration.

Based in the Regeneration Team the postholder will work closely with colleagues in Development Management, Property Services and Landscape Architecture providing professional advice on urban design, including the preparation of development guidelines and masterplans. The postholder will also work with colleagues to implement place based plans through capital projects and other initiatives which promote economic growth.

You will have a recognised qualification in town planning, and ideally have experience of working in an urban design and regeneration role where you have successfully delivered regeneration objectives and achieved positive design outcomes within a development management and regeneration context. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate initiative and customer care, and be capable of negotiating effectively.
