This is a Split Shift Post - 37 hours contract but work 43 hours term time to enable all school holidays off.
Monday-Thursday 3-9 p.m.
Tuesday- Friday 7.30 a.m. – 12 noon
+ 1 Sleep- in per week (Sleep in starts at 10 p.m.)
This is a split shift post. We would like someone who is flexible and able to do a 2nd sleep-in if there are staff shortages.
We are looking for a Residential Child Care Officer to be responsible for their own unit and help with early morning routines, getting children up and ready for school, breakfast and completing paperwork.
The 2nd part of the shift is to help the children with their social activities including tea time through to bed time.
Walworth is a Primary School for children with Social, Emotional Mental Health Difficulties, and associated learning and behavioural problems. The children need to be taught the national curriculum differentiated to meet their individual needs. They can be both verbally and physically abusive and aggressive.
