The 5 Sunderland Children’s Homes offer high quality residential care for up to 32 young people. As a Residential Childcare Worker you will become part of a team working to ensure that all the practical activities necessary to maintain a Children’s Home are carried out. Forming effective relationships with young people will guarantee successful implementation of individual packages of care to allow for the best possible life chances for the children that we work with.
We are looking for suitably experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals with excellent communication skills and good IT skills and who are able to provide and supervise a wide range of activities for young people.
This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
