The responsibility of a Residential Child Care Worker is to act as a corporate parent for Children Looked After and be an assertive champion for Children in Need in accordance with the National Minimum Standards for Children’s Homes.
Applicants should have experience of working with children and young people either in a residential care or related setting.
Applicants should hold the NVQ level 3 CCYP or the Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3 or a suitable equivalent qualification.
