Further Information
At Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, we believe every child and family deserves the opportunity to feel safe and be loved.
As a Residential Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, day-to-day care for children and young people living in our residential homes.
You’ll work within our restorative, trauma-informed practice model to build positive, trusting relationships and help young people develop resilience, life skills and independence.
Your duties will include supporting health and wellbeing, maintaining a safe and welcoming home environment, promoting education and personal development, assessing risks, contributing to care plans and key-working, and collaborating with families and multi-agency partners.
You’ll be a caring, practical and emotionally resilient team player who believes in putting relationships first. Our team values warmth, consistency, creativity and a solution-focused approach. We are looking for someone who can communicate well, work collaboratively, think calmly in challenging situations, and be a positive adult role model. If you’re committed to safeguarding, equality, continuous improvement and making a meaningful difference in young people’s lives, you’ll be a great fit for our supportive and dedicated team.
This isn’t just a job—it's a chance to transform lives.
If you want to be part of something meaningful and join a team that truly values you, we’d love to hear from you.
