We are looking to appoint 2 permanent full-time Residential Workers across various locations in Durham. As a residential worker your duties will include caring and working with vulnerable and challenging young people, providing a safe and stable environment and engaging young people in a variety of activities.

You will be responsible for producing relevant plans and reports, working as part of a care team within Residential Services and the wider organisation.

You will work with a team under the legislative framework of The Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.

The successful candidate will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

Required qualifications:
4 GCSEs (grade A – C) including Maths and English or equivalent
NVQ Level 3 in Child Care or willingness to achieve within 18 months of commencement. Commitment towards undertaking and maintaining required training standards in accordance with the updated career pathway.
