We are seeking to recruit suitable people to work within the Children With Disabilities Home Support Team. You will work directly with children and young people with disabilities, their families and carer's to deliver short break support and services, which promotes change and development and meet physical, emotional, intellectual, behavioral, health, social and cultural needs. This will include working with children and young people with challenging behaviour, moderate to severe disability, complex health needs, complex emotional problems, mental health disorders and other additional/special needs.

The successful candidates will provide a high quality of care and support, which meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, behavioral, health, social and cultural needs of the children and families for whom the team provides a service to.

Applicants must:
* Have a recognised Child Care Qualification (minimum of QCF Level 3) or a willingness to achieve this award
* Experience of working with children and young people
* An understanding of child development and challenging behaviour
* A positive attitude and the ability to work with young people

You will also be required to work unsocial hours - including early mornings, evenings, week-ends, bank holidays and nights when required. This role involves working in family homes and in the local community. A Full UK Driving License and access to a car is a requirement for this post.
