We are looking for caring, creative, and enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team to work in a short break setting at the Home Support Team.
Applications are invited who have appropriate experience and have a professional approach to carry out all aspects of care in supporting children with various disabilities.
This role involves personal care. Some of the children we work with have difficulty forming relationships, following routines, accepting boundaries and can display challenging behaviour. Candidates need to be fast thinking and able to work both on their own, and as part of a team.
They will also need to be able to work unsocial hours - most work is on an evening, weekends, early mornings, and school holidays, including bank holidays (the team can operate 365 days a year).
This role consists of working split shifts. Must have a full driving licence and have access to a car. We provide support and training leading to QCF Children and Young People’s Workforce level 3 Diploma.
