We are seeking to recruit suitable people to work within resources. The resource team work directly with children, young people and their families and cares to deliver support and services, which promote change and development and meet physical, emotional, intellectual, behavioral, health, social and cultural needs. This may include working with children with challenging behaviour, moderate to severe disability, and complex health needs.

We are committed to Restorative Practice when working with young people and their families.

The successful candidates will provide a high quality of care and support, which meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, behavioral, health, social and cultural needs of the children and families for whom the home provides a service. This will include working with children with very challenging behaviour, complex emotional problems, mental health disorders and other additional/special needs.

Applicants must:
Have a recognised Child Care Qualification (minimum of QCF Level 3) or a willingness to achieve this award
Experience of working with children and young people
An understanding of child development and challenging behaviour
A positive attitude and the ability to work with young people

You will also be required to work unsocial hours - including week-ends, bank holidays and nights. A Full UK Driving License is a requirement for this post

Screening Interviews will take place on Wednesday 6th June 2018, if successful at screening candidates will need to attend for further interview on either Thursday 7th or Friday 8th June 2018. This interview will last from 9am – 4 pm, involving group work and written interview.
