Further Information
The Routes to Work Project is a jointly-funded initiative involving Tees Valley Combined Authority and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to support those people most distant from the labour market to prepare for and access work.

The project provides an exciting opportunity to test new ways of collaborative working at a local level that take a person centered and responsive approach to address the multiple barriers that some people face when trying to access work. The project will test whether greater collaborative and person centered approaches deliver better and more sustainable outcomes for these vulnerable people.

The project will provide holistic support from a range of service providers for those unemployed or socially inactive individuals across the Darlington area, who are deemed to need the most help and support to move back into work.

The purpose of the post is to co-ordinate the effective delivery of the Routes to Work Project, leading a team of Key Workers to deliver high quality service that supports participants to overcome barriers to employment.

The successful candidate will be required to work with a range of partners and have previous experience of working with jobseekers who may have complex needs.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent leadership qualities who has the ability to influence and deliver positive change in people’s lives.
