Ribbon Academy is a 'good' three-form entry primary school situation on the east coast of County Durham. We are looking to recruit a SEND Intervention Lead teacher to join our caring and supportive school community. The successful candidate will help us provide a supportive, stimulating environment and share our high expectations of achievement for all our children. We have wonderful children and dedicated staff that go that extra mile every day. We are looking for a SEND Intervention Lead teacher who: • Has the knowledge and experience of teaching pupils with special educational needs • Has good literacy and mathematical skills • Is hard working and adaptable to change • Has a secure understanding and knowledge of observing children’s learning • Can lead learning across the school ensuring exemplary provision for inclusion. • Is able to monitor pupil progress, ensuring achievement. • Has knowledge & understanding of record preparation and keeping in relation to SEND pupils • Shows evidence of leading on an impact that has improved pupil outcomes.
