Following a successful appointment of the existing post holder, we are seeking to find the right person to come and join our team and help to complete the puzzle for our pupils. We believe that our pupils possess all the right pieces to complete their own personal jigsaw, but some require additional support to see how the pieces fit together to complete the picture.
You will have the privilege to work alongside a talented and experienced team to provide a specific and targeted curriculum offer for pupils who may have additional learning, emotional or well-being needs. You will be able to apply a sound understanding of Early Years and phonic development practice to assess, plan, implement targeted provision and then review outcomes that close gaps in learning.
You may have some experience of Nurture group provision but must be eager to apply the theory into practice and commit to complete training linked to the Theory and practice of Nurture group provision. Caldicotes Primary Academy is a vibrant and forward thinking academy and is proud to serve the communities around Thorntree, which is to the east of Middlesbrough. We are within easy access from Middlesbrough and the Tees Valley and close to the A19.
We offer:
* An academy with committed and welcoming staff who will support you throughout your career with us.
* Happy engaged children who will make you feel very welcome and will inspire you every day.
* A commitment to your ongoing professional development. We actively welcome visits to come and meet our team and children.
To arrange a visit with the Principal, Helen Steele or Vice Principal, Director of Provision and Inclusion, Ben Jones please contact the office on 01642 243040.
As the sponsor, AET believes that all young people deserve to become world-class learners - to learn, enjoy, succeed and thrive in a first rate educational environment with the best facilities, the best teaching and the most up-to-date resources available to them.
In each of our academies, you will benefit from visionary, inspirational and dynamic leadership and be empowered to develop your own skills with access to world-class CPD and Talent Management programmes. You will also be entitled to a health cash plan, Local Government pension scheme and childcare vouchers.
This position is required to commence as soon as possible.
Interviews are scheduled to take place Wednesday 12 September 2018.
Closing date: Friday 31 August 2018. We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive an overwhelming response.
