SEND Teacher Status: Permanent Required: From September 2018 Salary: £22,917 – £33,824 (NQT – M6) plus SEND allowance of £2,106Hours: Full time Reporting to: Head Teacher/Executive Head Teacher Pennyman Primary Academy is pleased to be able to appoint an enthusiastic and committed SEND teacher to join the academy as part of Tees Valley Education Trust. Pennyman Primary is a vibrant, creative and forward looking academy keen to employ an outstanding, enthusiastic and experienced practitioner to join the specialist unit placement provision teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the teaching of SEND unit placement pupils according to their educational and developmental needs. The role, in line with standard teachers pay and conditions, requires planning and preparation for pupils as well as assessing, recording and reporting on the progress and attainment of all learners. We are looking for an innovative and inspirational teacher who can demonstrate best practice in teaching. They will join an already highly successful SEND team, which was recognised as outstanding in the latest academy Ofsted inspection in June 2017.
