Easington Colliery Primary School is a rapidly improving school. We require, from September 2018, an outstanding HLTA to join our team to provide maternity cover for up to 12 months(or until the post holder returns).

We are looking to appoint someone who has: -
• Experience In working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Delivered specific intervention in relation to social communication needs
• Lead a team of other Teaching Assistants
• Delivered interventions targeted at the development of children’s social communication skills
• Experience of supporting children with high needs in the mainstream classroom
• Experience of delivering whole class and group teaching
• A successful track record, minimum of two years, of working with children
• Experience of working with children presenting challenging behaviour
• Experience of working across Key Stages
