A partner school of First Class Supply, based in North Tyneside, require a Learning Support Assistant to provide support within the SEN department. The position is on a full time basis to start after February half term for the remainder of the academic year.

Having gone through a period of transition the school has recently received a “Good” Ofsted rating. It is a warm and friendly school where everyone knows each other and relationships are very positive. Pupils are talented, confident and happy young people who enjoy school life, work hard and get involved. The behaviour of pupils is exemplary with most achieving well.

To apply for this position you must:
  • have experience of working on a 1-1 basis with children with additional needs

  • be able to work independently using your initiative

  • be committed to making a real difference to the lives of pupils

  • have empathy, patience and understanding

  • hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare or education

  • have a minimum of 6 months recent experience within a UK school or education setting.
