A partner school of First Class Supply, based in North Tyneside, require a Learning Support Assistant to provide support within the SEN department. The position is on a full time basis to start after February half term for the remainder of the academic year.
Having gone through a period of transition the school has recently received a “Good” Ofsted rating. Pupils are talented, confident and happy young people who enjoy school life, work hard and get involved. To apply for this position you must:
- have experience of working on a 1-1 basis with children with additional needs
- be able to work independently using your initiative
- be committed to making a real difference to the lives of pupils
- have empathy, patience and understanding
- hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare or education
- have a minimum of 6 months recent experience within a UK school or education setting.
