We are working with an alternative education provision based in Northumberland, for pupils statemented with Social Emotional & Mental Health difficulties.

This provision is looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teaching assistants with a real passion and commitment to working with children with SEMH.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Have experience of supporting pupils with SEMH
  • Possess excellent behaviour management skills
  • Have excellent communication skills with pupils, staff, parents and outside agencies
  • Be able to show empathy and understanding of young people with a range of learning needs
This job would suit someone who has experience of working with vulnerable children, and who wishes to forge a rewarding SEN career in a rapidly expanding provision.
