This role is a front-facing part our prevention team to ensure effective coordination, liaison and delivery of road and water safety and casualty reduction initiatives. This role provides a focus for continuity and consistency in the development and application of road and water safety education, particularly in relation to community engagement programmes. The Safer Roads and Water Team Lead will have expertise in road/water safety education and engagement and is responsible for managing a small tream in the delivery of community-based interventions targeting road user behaviour and water safety. This will include engaging with multiple partners and stakeholders across the emergency services, businesses, schools and councils.
