You will be working within the Safeguarding Adults Team at Middlesbrough Council. This team is passionate about Making Safeguarding Personal and reducing risk to Adults at risk of harm and abuse.
This post will include undertaking Section 42 Safeguarding enquiries, Chairing Safeguarding Adults meetings and working with colleagues internally and externally with organisations such as NHS Trusts, The Police and provider agencies and the CQC. You will have a good understanding of the Safeguarding Adults agenda, The Care Act and Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards as well as representing the team at other forums.
