Your role is to schedule all jobs to suitable operatives or contractors, paying attention to due dates, geographical location and operatives technical capabilities.
You will ensure all operatives have a full schedule of work each day and that pre-planned visits are arranged with external and internal customers to avoid ‘no access’ issues. You will ensure all jobs are attended within the required response time and that operatives are given full information to enable them to complete any job paying particular attention to emergency and urgent jobs to ensure they are completed without delay in the timescales promised to tenants. You will have an awareness of operatives’ geographical locations including the use of vehicle tracking system and work closely with stores to ensure correct stock is available for all jobs before an operative is dispatched.

You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent recognised training in Customer Service, along with knowledge of repairs within a Social Housing environment and an understanding of administration needs in a repairs and maintenance environment. You should have knowledge of work order systems, and of Fleet management and housing management ICT systems.
You will also have experience of communicating and engaging with customers and working with contractors, consultants and other agencies.
