Temporary to cover maternity leave until the substantive postholder returns

Governors wish to appoint an outstanding and committed professional to be responsible for supporting the Head Teacher and Governors in running the financial and administrative structure of our school. This vacancy is to cover a maternity absence which will commence the beginning of June. The Governors would like the successful applicant to start in May (date to be determined in due course).

The successful candidate will:
• Have exceptional communication skills
• Be well organised and able to manage their own and others time and tasks effectively
• Have outstanding ICT skills; including knowledge of SIMS
• Be able to manage the school’s finances effectively
• Be able to cope confidently with the fast pace of a modern developing primary school and with changes to routine
• Be sympathetic to and supportive of the aims and ethos of a Catholic school
• Have a good sense of humour.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
