The Governors of Newker Primary School wish to appoint an outstanding and committed professional to be responsible for supporting the Headteacher and Governors in running the financial and administrative structure of our school.
The successful candidate will:
• Have or is working towards a Diploma of School Business Management or equivalent.
• Be directly responsible for strategic leadership and management of the school site.
• Manage strategic financial plans, budgets, financial reporting and asset management.
• To develop and maintain systems and process measures that are value for money.
• To be able to use a range of ICT packages including FMS and SIMS (pupil and personnel databases).
• Manage Human Resources, Health and Safety and have experience of working in a busy office environment at senior level.
• Have the ability to relate well with children and adults, working a part of a team. Should be able to demonstrate the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
• To support the Headteacher and Governors in the management of change and improvement. Demonstrate commitment to the vision of the school.
• Have excellent numeracy and literacy skills .
• Understanding of promoting positive relationships with the wider school community.
• Have knowledge of Safeguarding issues within education . (Designated person for Safeguarding)
• Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and have a good sense of humour.
Hours of work: 22.5hrs (Wednesday - Friday) 8.00am - 4.00pm
