We are looking for an experienced School Capital Senior Officer to lead the planning and delivery of major investment across Redcar & Cleveland’s school estate.
This is a key senior role within Education and Skills, responsible for managing a programme of capital projects that improve and modernise school buildings, support school improvement priorities and ensure value for money.
Working closely with schools, Academy Trusts, planners, developers and external partners, you will lead projects from early feasibility through to delivery, securing funding, overseeing procurement and managing budgets.
You will play a central role in shaping the future of our school estate, contributing to strategic planning, Cabinet reporting and partnership working across the borough.
This role is ideal for someone with strong capital project experience, excellent stakeholder management skills and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people through high-quality learning environments.
