We are looking for an experienced School Organisation and Capital Specialist.
You will be expected to lead a range of functions relating to school organisation, pupil place planning, capital projects and school estate management.
This is a varied role working with schools and trusts across Newcastle as well as officers within Education and Skills and other parts of the Council.
You will have strong analytical skills, experience of managing capital projects within timescales, budget and quality as well as sound knowledge of school organisation legislation and policy.
Equally important, however, will be the ability to engage and effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders. This is an important and high profile role which will require you to provide information and advice to school leaders and governors, senior officers and elected members of the Council.
