Walbottle Campus is an 11 to 18 secondary school, with 1650 students, which occupies a large, beautiful site in the Tyne valley. It could be described as a city school in a rural setting with a fabulous structure. Walbottle offers students and staff rewarding and deeply engaging experiences, and supports them on their journey to become inspirational and reflective practitioners, improving life for all in our community.

We are seeking a technician to work in our science department, supporting the team in the setting up and dismantling of equipment, ordering stocks and supplies and maintaining our databases. We are seeking candidates who have a relevant science qualification combined with previous experience working in a laboratory or school science department. Ideally, candidates should possess knowledge of relevant legislation in relation to safe working practices in the science subjects and must be able to relate and work well with children and adults. Graduates are welcome to apply for this post as training will be given.
