Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified individuals for the post of Seasonal Worker within Street Scene services.
The Seasonal worker role is temporary position from the end of March until the end of October. Hours vary depending upon the role undertake but are either 37 hours or 42 hours per week.
Based in Street Scene and reporting to the service Foreman, you will be responsible for providing cleansing, grass cutting, refuse collection services across the borough (depending upon your role). Previous experience of this type of work is essential although full induction training will be provided. As a team player you will have the ability to develop effective relationships with work colleagues and communicate effectively with the public during the course of your duties. You will also be self-motivated and be able to work on your own initiative although direction and guidance will be provided.
A full clean driving licence is required for the ride-on grass cutter posts.
