An academy school in Durham is looking to appoint a Teacher of French and Spanish to start after the Easter break until Summer 2018. The position will be on a full time basis for a minimum of 1 term. You will be required to teach Key Stages 4 and 5.
The school is a very successful 11-18 school which provides a challenging and stimulating, yet professionally rewarding environment to teach within. To be successful in this role you must:
- be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with vision, drive and commitment
- have the skills to make a significant impact on raising the quality of teaching and learning
- be proficient in planning, assessment and target setting so that all children make good or better progress
- be able to inspire and motivate
- be committed to raising achievement and standards
- hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
- have recent experience / knowledge of teaching French to Key Stage 4 and Spanish to Key Stage 5 within the UK National Curriculum.
