A large secondary school in Newcastle is working with First Class Supply to appoint a Teacher of Maths to commence in April 2018 for the remainder of the academic year. The position will be on a full time basis until July 2016. You will teach up to Key Stage 4.

The school caters for pupils aged 11-19 and performs consistently well. The leadership team are relentless in raising achievement and have been able to ensure pupils make good progress. Students are considerate towards others and display good behaviour.

To be successful in this role you must:

have a strong classroom presence
secure good progress for all students
be able to inspire and motivate
be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with vision, drive and commitment
hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
have recent experience / knowledge of teaching Maths at Key Stage 4 within the UK National Curriculum.
