SENIOR EARLY HELP WORKER - TOGETHER FOR CHILDREN, SUNDERLAND
Grade 5 – £22,658 - £24,964
Together for Children is a newly established Company in Sunderland which works on behalf of the Council to deliver children’s services in the city including social care, supported accommodation, early help and education.
To work as part of a locality team to identify children, young people and families of any age who would benefit from early help and family support.
To signpost families to appropriate support and/or to work as part of a multi-agency team to lead a Team Around the Family and deliver family support at the right level to prevent children and young people escalating to acute and specialist services.
In particular to work with families who have ‘stepped down’ from Child in Need or Child Protection Plans to ensure successful outcomes and reduce the number of families re-referred to specialist services.
To offer advice and support to enable partners in the universal services to lead a Team Around the Family.
