Our HR Service provides the framework and support enabling the effective management of the workforce in the provision of high quality services to the people of Hartlepool.

We are strengthening our well established HR team through this exciting opportunity for two experienced Advisors to join us in delivering a professional service. The post holders will have the opportunity to be part of great team environment, working on innovative new corporate initiatives and projects.

The successful candidate will have:

• CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Diploma or Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Practice or equivalent
• good working knowledge and experience of HR case law
• the ability to confidently advise Managers on all HR related matters with solution based recommendations demonstrating good judgment skills
• excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

A working knowledge and experience of the local government job evaluation scheme (Gauge) is advantageous.
