Middlesbrough is a fantastic place, proud of its heritage and ambitious enough to shape an entirely different future. We have set out our city-scale plans to deliver over £600 million of investment that will promote economic growth and strengthen both our regional and national reputation as a destination of choice.
Our ambition for our children and young people is equally high and we are investing in the transformation of children services through our ‘Believe in families’ programme.
This is a very exciting time for Children’s Services in Middlesbrough and we are seeking exceptional people to help us deliver our transformation for the children and families of Middlesbrough. If you have the Passion, Integrity and Focus to help us achieve our ambition, we would love to hear from you.
We have several vacancies for Senior Practitioners within the Family Team which is part of the Stronger Families Service, offering Early Help to families in Middlesbrough.
This team carries out early help family casework working in a restorative approach to strengthen families and reduce the number of children and young people requiring acute service interventions. As part of this role, you will be required to develop and deliver early help support with identified families to increase family resilience and improve outcomes for children and families.
It is essential you hold a relevant level 4/5 professional qualification
