Holly lodge is an Ofsted registered 4 bed home for children with Autism and learning disabilities who can display challenging behaviour.
We are seeking to recruit suitable people to work within an established and experienced care team. The team work directly with young people with disabilities and their families and carers to deliver support which promotes change and meets the young people's physical, emotional, intellectual, behavioural, health, social and cultural needs.
Working as a Senior resource worker you will need to have relevant experience and a professional approach to carrying out all aspects of personal and direct care.
Applicants must:
Have NVQ/Diploma Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or a qualification that the management deems equivalent (including HSC375 Medication Unit or equivalent medication experience)
Be enthusiastic
An understanding of child development and challenging behavior
A positive attitude and a restorative approach when working with young people
Have experience of working with children with disabilities
They will also need to be able to work unsocial hours for example early mornings, weekend's sleep-ins, night shift as well as school holidays, evenings and Bank holidays
