Further information
We have a vacancy for a full time Service Development Manager within the Contracts and Commissioning team, Wellbeing and Community Health.
The role is focused on commissioning social care services and key tasks will include: provider market management, reviewing existing services, analysis to identify gaps in provision, planning and procuring new services, ensuring Northumberland has high quality and value for money social care services.
You will need to be able to build strong working relationships with existing and potential new providers, work with partners on joint provisions including NHS and social care staff.
You will be part of a supportive, collaborative team where effective communication is essential, commitment to providing a quality service is expected and new ideas for improvements are welcomed. The role is varied and will offer the opportunity for personal development.
