Further information

Together for Children is a newly established Company in Sunderland which works on behalf of the Council to deliver children’s services in the city including social care, early help and education

Are you passionate about making a difference to children's lives? If so, then think about joining our team and being part of our journey to excellence. This is a unique opportunity to join us at the start of an exciting and innovative programme of change as we shape and develop our new dedicated children's company, Together for Children – Sunderland.

The Quest team work with families, foster carers, schools and other child care settings to provide support to children and young people with Autism.

We are seeking Sessional Quest Workers to facilitate the implementation of behavioural guidelines drawn up by the team within the Home, Community, Short Break Service and School.

As a Quest Worker you will develop a shared understanding of the underlying causes and also reduce the frequency and intensity of those behaviours that present a severe challenge to families and services. This includes liaising with Parents, Carers and other Professionals to contribute to the ongoing monitoring of the effectiveness of these interventions.
