Are you looking for an opportunity to gain a Level 2 accountancy qualification whilst gaining valuable work experience? Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has an exciting new opportunity within the Adult and Communities.

The team are responsible for Social Care Finance – Payments and income, based in Belmont House Guisborough.

You will gain valuable work experience supporting the team, we will require you to check and maintain accurate charging records using excel spreadsheets for individual clients. Monitor information from Care Providers. You will be trained on the council finance system Agresso, to assist with maintaining invoicing records and trained on the Social Care Controcc system to check client address details.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, positive individual who is self-motivated and able to work using their own initiative as well as being a team player. The successful candidate will be committed to providing an excellent service and be willing to learn and develop their knowledge.

As an apprentice you will be eligible to apply for Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council’s internal job vacancies as and when they arise within the Council.

Apprenticeship opportunities are open to anyone over the age of 16 years old with no upper age limit. You will need a commitment to attend training to attain the appropriate level of functional skills (Maths, English and ICT) if these have not already been achieved.
