The Family Placement Service in Darlington is responsible for the recruitment, training, assessment and support of foster carers, kinship carers and adoptive parents. Social Workers within the Family Placement Service work closely with child care social workers to ensure that children and young people are matched appropriately with their carers or adoptive parents.
The work within the service is interesting and rewarding and will give the successful applicants the opportunity to develop skills in the areas of fostering and adoption. The successful social workers will benefit from working with an experience staff team and have the opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people.
