Child and Adult Services have two full time vacancies within the Safeguarding, Assessment and Support Unit to work with children and families. The team provides a comprehensive social work service from the point of single assessment through to work on a long term basis. The team support children in need, including those in need of protection by assessing need, creating packages of support and managing risk.

We are committed to providing high quality services to children, young people and their families and offer an excellent working environment valuing supervision, training and opportunities for professional development. Our last Ofsted inspection judged us as being ‘good’ regarding the effectiveness of our safeguarding services and outcomes for children and young people. You should possess or graduate this year with a social work qualification at a degree or diploma level (or equivalent). Grade on appointment subject to qualifications and experience
