An opportunity has arisen within the Adult Social Care Team for a Social Worker, initially based in the North of Stockton-on-Tees. Adult Services are currently undergoing a review of the delivery model. The proposed new structure will consist of a Preventative Team and an Assessment and Support planning team, this post will sit within one of them. The successful candidate should have good communication skills and be able to work as part of an Integrated Team.

The key role of the post is to ensure that the needs of adult’s within Stockton-on-Tees are care managed and reviewed appropriately according to current legal, government and departmental policy, guidance and procedures.

This post is open to both experienced and Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs). NQSWs will be supported to complete the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment. Their continued employment will be subject to the successful completion of the ASYE programme.
