An opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time Social Worker within the First Contact/ MASH Service.

Social Workers in First Contact and MASH work in a multi-agency environment and are responsible for screening referrals into the Local Authority Children’s services and applying thresholds and undertaking enquiries in relation to the presenting referrals. A supportive team and ongoing development opportunities are available. Applicants need to be Social Work qualified, registered with Social Work England and have experience of Children’s fieldwork and child protection.

Degree in social work or equivalent social work qualification, e.g. Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work (PDDipSW) Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW), Diploma in Social Work (DipSW), Certificate in Social Services (CSS) AND Current Social Work England Registration.
