An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Disabled Children Team in Northumberland and we are looking to recruit a full time Social worker to join our very stable team. The Disabled Children Team supports children / young people across Northumberland for those in need of statutory support and intervention. This role will entail carrying out a wide range of responsibilities including a caseload which will encompass CIN, CP and LACS cases. You will also be responsible for attending and contributing to EHCP reviews. The successful applicant will be passionate about improving outcomes for children with a range of complex needs and their families. You must hold a relevant social worker qualification, be registered with Social Work England and have completed your ASYE. This position involves managing cases across the county, whilst some agile working may be necessary you will predominantly be based in our main office which is based in Eddie Ferguson House, Blyth. Whilst we welcome applicants with a range of experience it would be desirable to have experience of working with children with disabilities and safeguarding.

This is a full time, 37 hours per week post. It is permanent and based in Blyth, Northumberland.
