Are you an experienced and dynamic social worker?
If so we have an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join one of our dedicated Children In Our Care teams.
Redcar & Cleveland are looking for a confident and experienced Social Worker to manage a case load of looked after children who may be in a variety of settings such as foster care, residential homes or family and friends arrangements.
In this role you will be:
- Working collaboratively with multi agency partners.
- Supporting families, completing assessments, reviewing and progressing care plans.
- Supporting placements for vulnerable children and young people,
- Putting them, their families and carers at the centre of everything you do

The successful candidate will have:
- A formal qualification in social work.
- Registration with the Social Work England
- Experience of working within a children and families social work setting
- The ability to produce good quality assessments and robust plans
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
