Children’s Social Care Services – Children with Disabilities
18.5 hours per week

The Children with Disabilities Team is a specialist social work team working with disabled children, young people and their families. The work of the team covers the full range of statutory duties in the delivery of the service. It is committed to the personalisation agenda and the SEND reforms.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic social worker with an established skill base and practice in children services with knowledge in the area of disability and partnership working. Applications are invited from qualified social workers, both progressed and unprogressed.

This post is for an Early Intervention role. Our Early Intervention Social Workers have involvement with families at Tier 3 within Children’s Social Care, and provide support, advice, assessment and planning with children, families and partners.

The applicant should have a relevant social work qualification, such as DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent, and must have current HCPC registration.
