Salary- £29,055 - £38,052 per annum (Depending on experience and progression rules apply), plus an essential car user allowance of £1,239 per annum, Relocation package and £1,000 golden hello are available.

Children with Disabilities Team - Children’s Social Workers
We are currently recruiting experienced Social Workers to join our children with Disabilities Team.
You will work directly with children and families, as the allocated Social Worker to monitor and review the implementation of care plans and ensuring that children needs are being met. You will work with colleagues and other professional to gather information relevant to assessment and care planning.

You will work directly with and also support children, young people and their families in completing child focused assessments. With proven experience in delivering statutory children’s social care services you will have knowledge of social care children’s legislation and be confident in delivering the best outcomes and decisions on behalf of service users. You must be an excellent team player and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues and partners.
Our Social Work offer is one of the most competitive across the region including a maximum earning potential of £39,291pa for a post qualified worker who has satisfied progression plus for external applicants an additional £1000 TfC retention payment payable on commencement (or after successful completion of the probationary period, if this applies). This is in addition to membership of the LGPS, 20% discount for a Nissan car and a generous annual leave entitlement.
