This is an exciting and challenging time to join our new independent fostering agency-Together For Children Fostering Sunderland. We have been commissioned by Sunderland City Council to provide fostering services for children and young people in Sunderland This new agency will provide an ideal opportunity to be innovative and do things differently to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families .We are looking for skilled and experienced social workers who have the passion and drive to ensure that children and young people in Sunderland who we look after and provide foster placements for achieve the best outcomes and receive high quality services. The main tasks of the post will be the recruitment, training ,assessment and support of foster carers. You will be working in an experienced ,established and supportive team. We provide laptops and mobile phones to every social worker to make mobile and flexible working easier. We have introduced a career progression scheme which is underpinned by a professional learning and development plan. We ensure that all social workers receive regular, high quality supervision.
