Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking to appoint a Supervising Social Worker for their Family Placement Team, whose prime responsibilities are to recruit supervise and support carers and Connected Persons.

You will;

Have CSS/CQSW/DipSW / Social Work Degree (F) work or any other Social Work qualification that permits registration with the Health Care Professions Council as a Social Worker.

Have excellent communication skills and experience in presenting or delivery of training.

Ideally two years post qualifying experience in children and families work, including the placement of children in Fostering/ Adoption and be registered with the HCPC.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure & barring check via the Disclosure & Barring Service (previously known as a CRB check)
