An opportunity has arisen within Hartlepool Borough Council for 4 enthusiastic, committed, qualified and registered Social Workers to join a team which is responsible for undertaking assessments of need and thereafter promoting choice and control in relation to the provision of services to people eligible for support.
This is an opportunity for qualified and experienced Social Workers with a detailed understanding of key developments relating to adult social care such as adult safeguarding, the implementation of the Mental Capacity Act / Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, safe transfers of care from hospitals and Personal Budgets to join a progressive Department and progress their professional and personal development.
The successful applicants will receive regular supervision, annual appraisal and will be well supported in this busy and diverse team.
